Beginning classes are held at Black Mountain Recreation Center located at 599 Greenway Road in Henderson, Nevada Saturday mornings from 9:15 to 11:15 AM and sessions run six weeks. Call the center at 702-565-2880 for dates. Classes are $35 and all equipment is provided. Students who elect to continue after the basic session will shoot at the Dojo under the supervision of ranked practitioners. They will eventually purchase their own equipment. Members are encouraged to attend the annual seminar, where attendees are given three days of training by high ranking members of the All Japan Kyudo Federation. Testing also occurs at the seminar. Once every four years an International Seminar is held in Japan with archers from around the world attending. |
